Charles Moore, Private Co., "E" 114th Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Bourbon Co. Ky, was enlisted the 28th day of May, 1864, at Camp Nelson Ky, by Colonel Sedgewick, and was mustered in the 18th day of June, 1864, at Camp Nelson Ky, by Colonel Sedgewick, for 3 years.

At the time of enlistment he was 23 years old, and 5 feet 4 inches high, Yellow complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged (or [[strikethrough]]died)[[/strikethrough]] 2nd day of April, 1864, at Brazos Santiago Texas. 1st Lieut B.P. Heydenbeck was commanding officer, and Charles Harris first sergeant at the time of soldiers discharge.  [[strikethrough]] The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about the same time and place:  enlisted  day of  186 ,and  enlisted  day of  , 186 .[[/strikethrough]]
