NARA0038 (Form 24.) Elias Williams, Private Co., "A" 12th Reg't U.S.C. Art'y (hy) was born in Woodford Co. Ky., was enlisted the 15th day of July, 1864, at Camp Nelson Ky, by J. C. Randolph and was mustered in the 15th day of July, 1864, at Camp Nelson, Ky, by Capt. Kenney, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 30 years old, and 5 feet 8 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged [[strikethrough]] (or died) [[/strikethrough]] 24th day of April, 1866, at Louisville Ky. Captain Wm. McElroy was commanding officer, and Lawson Morgan first sergeant at time of soldier's discharge. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2.
