(FORM 24.) Harry Carrington, Corp Co., J 6 Reg't U.S.C. Cav, was born in Bourbon, Co. Ky, was enlisted the 27 day of Sept., 1864 at Paris, Ky., by Thos. H. Moore and was mustered in the 27 day of September, 1864, at Lexington, Ky, by Thos. N. Moore, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 35 years old, and 5 feet 9 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Laborer. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[strikethrough]] died) 16 day of April, 1886, at DeValls Bluff, Ark. Capt. John R. Haywood was commanding officer, and Henry Finch first sergeant at time of [[strikethrough]] soldier's [[strikethrough]] M. O. of Co. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. No record of Free or Slave status.
