NARA 0059 (FORM 24.) Bob McElroy, Private Co., "B", 122nd Reg't U.S.C. Troops was born in Washington Co, Kentucky, was enlisted the 27th day of September, 1864, at Lebanon, Ky., by Capt. J. M. Fidler and was mustered in the 30th day of September, 1864, at Lebanon, Ky., by Capt. J. M. Fidler, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was 19 years old, and 5 feet 5 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[strikethrough]] died) 13th day of February, 1865, at New Albany, Ind. Capt. John. B. Keyes was commanding officer, and Bill Jones first sergeant at time of soldier's death. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. He was a Slave of Anthony McElroy, Washington Co, Ky. Joined Company at Original Organization. Died in U.S. Floating Gen'l Hospital Ohio of Endocarditis. No record of Co, or Principal Musicians, at date of soldier's death Aaron Rowe, Chaplain, at date of soldier's death Harvey D. Willis, Hosp. His name appears on Muster Rolls of Co. as Robert McElroy.
