Edmund Reid, Sergt. Col, K, 114 Reg't U.S.C.T
was born in Jessamine Co, K, was enlisted the 4 day of
June, 1864, at Camp Nelson, Ky, by Col. Col. Sedgewick
and was mustered in the 15 day of June, 1864,
at Camp Nelson, Ky, by Col Sedgewick, for 3 years.
At the time of enlistment he was 19 years old, and 5 feet
5 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair,
and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged 2 day
of April, 1867, at Brazos Santiago, Tex.
Capt. J. N. Phelps, was commanding offIcer, and Henry Magwood first sergeant at time of soldier's discharge,.
