Joseph Hickman Pvt Co., K 117 Reg't U.S.C.T. was born in Bourbon Co. Ky., was enlisted the 27 day of Sept, 1864 at Paris Ky., by Thos. H. Moore and was mustered in the 30 day of September, 1864
at Lexington, Ky, by Capt. Thos. H. Moore, for 3 years.

At the time of enlistment he was 18 years old, and 5 feet 4 inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair,
and by occupation a laborer. He [[strikethrough]] was discharged (or [[/strikethrough]] died) 19 day
of January, 1865 at Fortress Monroe, Va.
