0016 An agreement made once entered into this 1st day of December 1866, between Joseph A Tarwater of the Town of Clarksville and State of Virginia of the first part, once Lieutenant Robert Cullen (on behalf of the Freedmen's Bureau)of the second part. Witnesseth that the said Joseph A Tarwater of the first part, do rent to the said Lieut Robert Cullen of the second part. One.(1) room in the Town of Clarksville and State of Virginia, to be occupied as an office for use of Asst Supt. Bureau of R F and A L at the rate of six (6) dollars ($6.00) per month with the privilege of retaining said room for one (1) year from the present date.
