Palmer. S.A.C. Colonel, I found the within named Georginna Nevill, at Nevills Station 4 miles east of Germantown. She lives at Mr Nevills Has five children. he pays her 8$ per month a son about 14 years old receives 8$ per month, a daughter about 12 years of age 6$ per month, she says she has a good place, does not wish to leave it. Would go to Virginia to see her mother if Government will grant her transportation for the "round trip" At the request of Mr Nevill, I enclose her letters from her Mother.
