States that Mrs Jane Taliferro, a former slave of Mahlon Baldwin, who emancipated her by will of Oct 7th 1858, and gave her and her son, all his property, appointing John Ross, his executor, and died the same month. Ross has made no settlement since 1860. They ask the assistance of the Bureau to obtain a settlement. |
