Dr Sir,
I am informed by C.F. Herring Acting Auditor. That the claim of Henry Harris Private of Co. "C" 47th Regiment U.S. C Troops was allowed on the 19th of June 1875 for $252.00 Certificate No 622160. Now this amount nor any other amount has not been by him received. The claim was presented by J.W. Bissell in 1866 or 1867

Will you have the Kindness to inform me whether the same has ever been paid and if so to whome, and what course to pursue in order to get the same
