was away on a walk. Cloudy day, I think. Later in the after-noon we all went in the boat again, and put more fish in the lake.

[[underline]] Very [[underline]] windy. In the morning my papa, Dick, and Harry Greene, fished in the lake, and I went with them. It was so windy that we couldn't possibly get back to Mrs. Greene's boat landing where we had started from, but had to land near the studio: or we should have been upset, and even ^[[then]] the waves were so high that they splashed into the boat. When we got home Gerald came running downstairs and said that Arthur Carey had come and he really had.

Grandpa and Grandma came soon after breakfast. In the after-noon Arthur Carey, my papa, Grandpa, Dick, and I, took a walk in the woods. When I got back I found that my new bow had come.

Sunny day. Arthur Carey and I expected to go to Keene, but Arthur Carey was so tired that my papa wouldn't let him go.
