I posed for my papa, (probably in the morning.) In the after-noon we took a long walk; I'm not sure but I think that 'we' meant my papa and I, Isabel, and her sister Clara May, and one or more other Mays.

My papa and Professor Hill were away on a long walk all day. Isabel stayed to supper with us.

I spent the day at the Pumpellys. We got a letter from Mrs. Stearns saying that she would ^[[be]] glad to take me on the next Monday, and would

Faith Fisher, Mable Hatch, Matty Falkner, and Arthur Falkner, came a little while before dinner. I rode to Chasham with Isabel and Lady May, that morning, and passed them on the way there.
