about 3 P.M I arrived at the works. While crossing the street I noticed a strong odor of chlorine from Roberts Chemical Co. As the wind blew from the river this smell was undoubtedly produced by Roberts and not by us. The smell although very strong was not sufficient to cause any damage.
I have given order to photograph all the dead trees in street and on yard of Roberts Chemical Co. [[strikethrough]]All[[/strikethrough]] and the green grass on the yard of our works. All the trees were killed by Roberts Chemical Co long before we started operating.

two good diaphragms after my new blown-on method. Blowing first on perforated sheet in the box. then [[strikethrough]] placing piece of [[/strikethrough]] unrolling a long sheet of burlap over the fluffy layer of asbestos. The burlap was first soaked in soap solution. Then pressing down gently on sprinkling the whole with soap solution. Then pressing more by means of the roller aided by the hand. Squeezing out excess of moisture then gently removing the wet burlap a very homogeneous layer of wet asbestos felt remained on perforated sheet. We prepared two such sheets and I gave order to put them in a new cell.
