Sept. 11. I feet tired.  Foggy sultry unpleasant day.  Started early in laboratory. 
Yesterday I told to ^Acheson [[underline]]Acheson[[underline]] of my mixture of [[underline]]Bakalite[[underline]]

and graphite. Seems much interested and wants to meet me next time in Niagara Falls. 
I kept working all day in lab and explained [[underline]] to Thurlow [[/underline]] all what I discovered during the days he was away. ^on his vacation.

A violent thunderstorm and heavy rain in afternoon. 
Sept 12. Went away early to Long Island to visit Spiegelberg's factory. His brother wants me to give an opinion as to the condition of that plant and the possibilities of ultimate success.
Plant situated at Glendale a rather unfortunate location of difficult access.
