Several times this morning the adult captive [[male symbol]] went into a brief St (with CR) when the [[female symbol]] landed beside him That is all, however. No call, little or no WF, no Pvt. These St's were of the more erect type- which would suggest that this type is relatively low intensity.

Nothing much of interest today, except a visit by a pair of wild birds, [[male symbol]] in full nuptial plumage and [[female symbol]]. Behaved much as usual; except that once, when the [[male symbol]] came close to the [[female symbol]], he went into an extreme if brief Wh complex performance. St & CR, WF's, breast lowered (I shall call this component BL), and Wh Notes. This is the first time I have seen this close by wild birds. The breading season must be coming along. I hope!
I have also been trying to check up on the Fluking of this species. I think my statement on page 10 is approximately correct at least as a description of the usual behavior of the birds here now. The TF! seem to be eventually lateral, like Uiore of the Euplioucis [[right arrow]] or [[left and right arrow]]. Very little mutual component; and that apparently always U-D.
