at night a thunderstorm.
half rations

SATURDAY 5
further sick with terrible toothache. 
took [[??]] of the hill.

The  train came in with provisions.

Sunday 6
Sick all day. -very dull.
The band played for preaching.
   They are building a ferry boat here -
45 men took the oath and we were fired at the enemy and they fired back, [[???]]
