and marched 10 miles. camped

TUESDAY, JULY 1
Marched back 18 miles stopping
an hour in Ripley where we
burned a number of tents as to
facilitate rapid marching. Camped
about 10P.M. one cracker issued to
each man as a dry ration

WEDNESDAY 2
Marched east 21 miles. post haste
of the commissary having One cracker
issued to each man. Lived on 
blackberries. camped at Rienza
9 P.M. very hot and very little water
