Being Provost Guard we marched
in rear of the whole division,
were led 8 miles out of the
way. Marched 26 miles
got in camp very late.
marched 1 mile beyond Murfeesboro.

TUESDAY 2 
In camp:  Writing muster rolls

WEDNESDAY 3
Started at 5'Oclock toward
Nashville marched 18 miles.
The brigade being the rear
we had to make large distraction 
to cross the creeks.-

Started at 2 A.M. left little before
sunrise. Marched 12 miles to
5 miles from Nashville.-

FRIDAY 5
Drawing under a shade tree, the roll was
called and being absent was placed
under guard with 200 others .
Troops moving towards Nashville all
day.--

SATURDAY 6
Twohundred trains moving toward
Nashville all last night.  The Co. was
on fatigue duty on the fortifications near town. the injured was ordered to march to the fort and ordered to be [[?]] and [[?]] [[?]] orders.
