After meeting I drove Evans and Rebman first to Lotus Club then to Kingsbridge and I arrived home after mid night. Beautiful moon light. Oct. 10 Worked in lab and was [[end page]] [[start page]] 179 called up by telephone by Lansing who told me Robert and Emil Mond were at St. Regis and desired to meet me. In the evening I drove to New York. met them, put them up at the University Club then with Mr. Lucas one of their engineers we went to Martin's where I had a most interesting evening with these gentlemen, talking over may interesting subjects. in and outside the departments of Chemistry.
