After tea we wandered over the grounds (it was once the rectory of the district and is beautifully landscaped with palms, etc.). The Frome plant of the West India Sugar Co. is a "central"; that is, it mills cane for the small growers over a considerable area. Its capacity is many times more than Caymanas.
