Present also Doerflinger and Langmuir of Max & Ravolle, Shellac importers.  Joe carried my valises.  Came home by 12:30 train.

planning alterations. Took nap in afternoon.

Carpenters are doing slow work.  Their slowness and carelessness irritates me.  Plumbers here too laying sewer pipe.  Last part of roof finished today and all carpenters dismissed except one. I am glad they are gone

In evening Seabury came here and remained over night.  Told me is building new plant and has many orders
