Yesterday helped Henry the Norwegian paint & scrape boats.  George talks boats again & carburetors etc.  [[underlined]] Very interesting to notice develop.[[/underlined]]  Spent all day writing my paper for Niagara Meeting of Am. Electrochemical Society.  This morning went to Gotthelf who reported as to further work in Novolak.  Gave him further instructions for future work on subject.  [[underlined]] Nina again made the [[/underlined]] supper and earned

[[margin]] April 26 [[/margin]] Very busy all morning rewriting paper for Am. Electrochemical Society. and jumping from one thing to another Thurlow made run of solid A.  Afternoon visit of Dr. Prabell dentist who desires to use Bakelite for dental plates in conjunction with powdered aluminium so as to make it better conductor of heat.

At 6 P.M. Bowman came here and stayed until 10 P.M. Discussion of design of new vacuum pan.
