Russell Moore for once was rather optimistic on this subject McKenna was another optimist, so were [[McIlheney?]] and myself.  I felt very very tired, remained until 12 P.M.

Evening clears up. Beautiful moonshine  Meeting Anvil Club in Hubbard's house.  Butler introduced discussion on "speculation and gambling" very well and very wittily.  An excellent discussion followed.  Very successful evening.  Present Hubbard, Butler, Cox, Smith, Hageman Kelman Jenks William Tilsley & myself. A fitting closing session for our successful winter.
