@siobhanleachman I don't speak/understand French so much of this is best guess only. #volunpeers please check! In French a final t is usually followed by a vowel which is why i think he put an e on West. Think the capital N is North. jaunatre would be correct, but is interpreting his writing style. cm? might also be env for the word-environ= about (it appears that there was a previous attempt to fill in letters/ words. i wrote down -pieds= feet above, but the usually word for insects or animals is 'patte', plural='pattes' Simalia on the next page might be referring to the insect below. is it verpina or vampira?
