  The kitchen has accomodations for every kind of meal and the couple take full advantage of that. But my own meals are very simple: salads, eggs, chops in rotation. Naturally, I can vary the rotation and start with eggs or chops. When the diet gets monotonous I shall call upon the American benefactor Cambell for assistance.
  Otherwise nothing ever happens as the smart doctor say in Grand Hotel. There was a lone visitor here from Saratoga (Yaddo) [[strikethrough]][[illegible]] [[/strikethrough]] last week; believe me we gave him a glad hand. I also noticed a couple of rabbits on the island. I wonder how they ever got here. In any case if they are of different sexes the islands
