April 10 [[script, in lead pencil]] I [[blue pencil]] ALINE [[all caps in red pencil, while rest of page is all caps in blue pencil]] This will not be written with scalpel like objectivity it is just going to be small talke ----- and than the phone rang and I heard your very nice voice and also all the very nice things you said --- of wich the very nicest was "I love you so much darling" ---- while I was drawing your letter on the plane I had a fellow next to me of the type that just gets on planes to strike up conversations - he wanted to know what I was doing because he was curious which apparently was sufficient excuse in his mind [[superscript]]to ask[[/superscript]] -- I told him it was a dream --- and continued - The think I liked most about the monument was that it was a beautiful result of you & I being close together --- The funny thing about it is that it proves your point in your article soo much - that I translate everything into architecture ----- You could now say "He even sees his closest friends as stone and concrete" - Or "He looks at this reporter and" ---- and so on - Now - just talke about things in the office. The [[underline]]Drake "Bible School"[[/underline]] it is a tiny little class room building with a tiny chapel - near it is to be a bigger chapel - I think it is going to be O.K. now. - It is located next to the Science and Pharmacy Building we did and not far from dormitories now under construction - The whole thing really becomes a campus & when these are built Drake will really have quite a good group of new buildings. - If plans are accepted (Wedsday) than it will look like this.
