Transcription Notes:
Not sure if the collection year is 1913 or part of the date range 12-13 June and the year is on the other label 1976. I googled "HH Knight entomologist" and noted he published from 1926 - 1929 in the Biodiversity heritage Library. I've assumed that 1913 is the more likely date of collection and 1976 is the date of donation to the Smithsonian of the HH Knight collection of specimens. I suspect H H Knight is Harry Hazelton Knight (1889-1976) - a well-known teacher of entomology and recognized world-wide as a leading taxonomist. He amassed a large collection of insects, mostly from North America. His primary area of research was the North American plant bugs (order Hemiptera, family Miridae)." http://siarchives.si.edu/collections/siris_arc_289766
