Saw premises.  Saw also production by the ton of Silicium which was handled and poured like cast iron and sold at $120 the ton.  This visit to Composite board Co.  Mr. Whitney, manager was very friendly showed whole installation two [[strikethrough]][[?]] [[/strikethrough]] heaters and large wet machine Paper rolled on a drum of wet [[?]] until thick enough then cut thru and put on rack and shoved in kiln then sandpapered, cut or glued together to proper size and thickness Took 1 P.M train Toronto. there Cohoe awaited us. Drove to Prince Edward Hotel. Excellent hotel. Evening supper at National Club offered by Cohoe. Prof Ellis and Brian and McKelland present. with Weger and myself.  Went to bed about 1030 fine night rest.  (see 3 sheets further)

March 12, (Saturday) Very hoarse and tired.  Dictated 37 letters during morning.  Weger is in Astoria with Elliott at Gas works.  Find that front spring of car is broken.  George went to N.Y to fetch a new one.  Afternoon went to Yonkers notary public for mailing [[underlined]] Metacresol patent. [[/underlined]] Saw May at paper factory. he was helping printer.
March 13 (Sunday) After good nights rest feel rested but still very hoarse.  Fine weather At 1030 AM Drove to Astor Hotel to fetch Tessel Jaeger and a certain Dr Rösslen an engineer connected with Ladenburg Thalman and Co, bankers.  Drove them along Riverside Spuyten Duuyvil, Lafayette, Riverdale, Cortland, Mosholu to Yonkers. where took lunch.  George with us.  After lunch short visit to Mandel
