materials in a rubber roller mixer, hot, then takes mass and runs thru small roller about 8" wide and flanged made of tin alloy so as to avoid sticking. Runs plate on a belt and thus gets flat square pieces ready for molding machines. With this makes electric insulators and buttons. Was much impressed with speed of work. especially his button machines which cool and heat automatically. The whole operation taking less than one half minute. Decidedly quicker than Bakelite molding. Yet for his other mixtures [["Gumaron"]?] or [["Sternite"?]] operations are much longer and

he uses pressures as high as 250 tons! which shows that his brittle shellac mixtures are only fit for certain articles. Was glad to see that he is molding Bakelite and went to quite an expense for equipping himself for that purpose. German visitors were specially impressed with fact that his molds are better and cleaner than theirs. Visit to a fine Bank building left open just only for our visit, the owners of which are the financial backers of the Dickinson Co. Cold supper at home of Stanberg. House is a fine house, well kept makes good impression. Another good day. We disbanded in New York and I went to Yonkers.
