I wrote an answer in which I set forth the whole history of the [[underline in red]] Protal Co [[/underline]] but will not send this letter if he is willing to retract his statement. The man is really foolish to bring up this issue which will rebound against him. 
At 2 P.M we met at [[directors'?]] meeting at office William and Peters. Present: Williams  Peters, Wenzel, Von Sinderen, Benjamin, Kent and myself. Patterson still in the hospital and his condition is disquieting. Some [[strikethrough]] objection [[/strikethrough]] indirect objection against writing letter to me in answer to my request that they decide whether Protal Co should avail

themselves of exclusive licenses etc. see correspondence. I showed them that in case they do not send me that letter I can easily terminate whole matter myself by writing them a letter answering that [[underline]] I have [[/underline]] given exclusive license to others as per my contract. They wanted to form resolution whereby I return stock & garantee fund and they return contract but as I see only new complications and prolonged debate I told them I prefer to postpone this issue and simply stick to the matter at hand as previously submitted and I shall see to it that the other matter, annulment of contracts and return of my stock occur in due time. Matter was passed finally [[underline in red]] everybody showed friendliness and voted yes. [[/underline]] I abstained.
