Hesse, Takamine, Moore. Douemus. McKenna. and Schweitzer. did not greet the latter nor spoke with him. This was supposed to be a Chemist Club Trustees meeting. _ made up my mind that T.F. Stone, Hesse, and [[McWhiney?]] are the worst officers we ever had. All sticks! no go. and no common sense. Lewis was supposed to fetch me with car but somehow Elizabeth our [[seamstress?]] had misunderstood my telephonemessage so I had to take train and leave my paper at University club.
