The fact is that I am living at the rate of 4% income on $400.000. Of these expenses the largest part could be slotted in case of necessity. So after all I am in a rather comfortable position.

This leaves us a gross profit of about [[strikethrough]] $15000 [[/strikethrough]] $1500. and pays about all our expenses. If we can increase this to say [[strikethrough]] $ [[/strikethrough]] 10 tons this month  or about $6000. we can [[strikethrough]] pay enough dividends to fr [[/strikethrough]] earn enough to show $26000 available for dividends of what I would get at least. $12000. Of this however will have to be deducted [[?]] expenses for advertising and introduction.

Celine brought them to office of Gen. Bakelite Co while I was conversing with Hasslacher but did not wait to see me.
Nov. 1. (1910) Thurlow busy with [[underline]] brushes [[/underline]]. for Erskine Co. At 4 P.M meeting with trust in office of G.B. Co with May we agreed on general lines as to purchase of machinery of [[underline]] Protal Co [[/underline]] which was left at Yonkers Plant. due to pay back all bills for machinery and fixtures not to be responsible for wages or salaries paid by Protal Co and Protal Co to [[strikethrough]] [[let??]] [[/strikethrough]] take all stock of paper for this.
