Jan. 21. Home all day. Afternoon went to examine trees at Yonkers Nurseries Co. and to Scott Bros..[[Stansford?]]. Lewis, George, Nina and Rose along. In the evening rain. [[underlined in red]] George and I went out to buy a [[strikethrough]] Vitola [[/strikethrough]] Victrola and brought it back in motor car and surprised Celine with present. [[/underlined in red]] We started the music in hall while Celine was in bed. Played records until late. This seems to amuse her very much.
