morning swim. Feel somewhat tired but not too much considering our first nights rest with out undressing.  Both Celine and myself can still give a pretty good account of ourselves to stand this test.  Fisherman caught some fish which we bought and ate. for lunch. Afternoon went home tramped to Staatsburgh thru the woods. with Bradley and Simmons 
Both boys looked like tramps this sunny Sunday afternoon when everybody in the village were dressed in their

sunday's best. They were hatless, colarless, torn clothes and busted shoes! Got ice cream for them.  Home at 9 P.M. could not get in the house except thru window as nobody expected us. Nina and Tessie remained in camp until tomorrow.

Sept 4. Excellent night's rest 
Beautiful weather. Spent most of day in my lab. alone. (This is labor day) working in [[red underline]] Naphtaline [[/red underline]] mixtures. On evening Tessie and Nina arrived here.
Sept 5. To office at 11 AM. until 5 P.M. Home with Celine
