Then discs of molding compaction are then used in hot press for [[red underline]] phonograph records. [[/red underline]] Works much better than simply using irregular pieces and makes phonograph molding easy  
Back with 5 [[underline superscript]] 08 [[/underline superscript]] PM, then supper Chemists Club then home with 9 [[underline superscript]] 55 [[/underline superscript]] PM.
Sept 28/ Early in lab. then to office [[red underline]] Hyatt [[/red underline]] came there, says he now is ready, and says material old B is satisfactory.  Home with 5 [[underline superscript]] 30 [[/underline superscript]] P.M

Sept 29/ All day here dictating belated letters. [[red underline]] Wickes [[/red underline]] is at factory [[red underline]] Rooni says he is pleased with results. [[/red underline]] At 5 PM motored to Cortland, and went to Knickerbocker hotel to find young [[red underline]] Hecht [[/red underline]] but he has left and no address. Then to [[red underline]] inventors guild.[[/red underline]] Drove home with Ward Leonard in his motor-coupe' to Cortland .
Sept 30/ [[under date in left margin 1911]] Bright but windy day. Dictated all morning . Was busy till 11 P.M. arranging and rewriting dielectric tables Slept poorly afterwards.
