Middlebrook boys wrangle with that old patched up automobile of the Blake boy, and were here for supper.
Dec 4. Heavy snow fall last night, trees laden with snow until branches break. Beautiful landscape.  Remained home all day dictating letters

Little[[margin]] Little I got most nominations for president of Am. Chemical Society [[/red underline]] altho I have not done [[red underline]] anything to obtain a vote and kept matter entirely quiet from my friends
