offered to Loeb and wanted [[Arnaud?]] [[red underline]] so there he changed probably his mind. [[/red underline]] This Verein Deutscher Chemiker seems to be the last stronghold of the[[red underline]] Schweitzer [[/red underline]] clique 
I felt very tired after the last few busy day. Went home with Dr Horne and [[Petoche?]]  Arriving home I find our new car in the barn at 12. PM 
Dec 9. Up early. Spent all morning signing letters addressed to members of Chemist Club [[red underline]] urging them to vote for Loeb [[/red underline]] About 200 in all up till now.  Celine and Miss Evans helped me
