On train met [[Watheimer?]] of Meffert & Sell who says he is temporarily in U.S to study patent system and is with Byrnes Townsend and Brickenstein.  He says Dyer Smith asked him to take up their [[underlined in red]] condensite [[/underlined in red]] cases but he told him Meffert had the Bakelite cases.

Up early to [[underlined in red Dr. Cushmans [[/underlined in red]] laboratory.  Gothelf started unpacking.  [[underlined in red]] Gardner [[/underlined in red]] and [[underlined in red]] Cushman [[/underlined in red]] came later on.  Then Townsend. [[underlined in red]] Stauffer [[/underlined in red]] (examiner and Moses.) They followed the experiments of Gothelf and stayed all day.  At noon we ate a sandwich without leaving the lab.  Everything ran satisfactorily and I had full day to explain case.  This was a great advantage.  [[underlined in red]] Townsend [[/underlined in red]]
