Plauts brother died suddenly yesterday. hence Plaut was not there. Considerable confusion on starting on account of misdirected printed advice. The latter is the son of the Burgomaster [[end page]] [[start page] 92 of Amsterdam. Two nice chaps. remained at University Club for supper with them Sept 9.
