Very interesting man who has traveled and lived in many foreign countries.  He is [[red underline]] enthusiastic [[/red underline]] about Java. [[red underline]] This reinforces my desire to go and take a vacation there. [[/red underline]]
Drove him back in afternoon met his brother Hugo. so we all drove to Hasslachers house where we took tea.  Afterwards took [[red underlin]] Rigg [[/red underline]] to University Club for supper while George and

Albert went for supper in some restaurant nearby.  Weather has become cold and crisp.  George drove us all back by 10:20 P.M.
Sept 30. Cold crisp weather.  Remained here all day dictating. [[red underline]] Question of voyage of Celine [[/red underline]] was brought up.  I foresee many complications.  Supper in Yonkers then went to University Club to leave my valise and arranged matters for my [[dinner?]] to [[red underline]] Roessler Hasslacher [[/red underline]] and Scheide Anstalt.  At midnight took drawing room on Pennsylvania train for Washington Cold night.  Was busy one [[underline]] hour [[/underline]] for R.B.Co. this afternoon.
