Later has just [[red underline]] resigned [[/red underline]] as manager of [[red underline]] Thomas A. [[/red underline]] Edison. We differ essentially on two points.  First they do not want to pay a substantial [[red underline]] royalty [[/red underline]] say [[red underline]] 10%. [[/red underline]] Then they want to have for [[red underline]] themselves [[/red underline]] the two step process we sticking to the one step process.
So we conclude to formulate new rules. to be discussed next week.  Feeling quite friendly. Took supper at Chemists Club then home

11:45. after seeing a farce called "What ails you.
Nov 20. A day of much dictation.  Came here a certain Dr. Kairn who applied for position with card of introduction of Lewkowitz. Left after early supper to New York. Cashed check $50.00 University Club went to see farce play "Never say die".
Then left [[strikethrough]] about 11:00 [[/strikethrough]] with midnight train for Washington in drawing room.
Nov. 21. [[insertion]] 1912 [[/insertion]] Breakfast at Cosmos Club then spent morning with Townsend then Interference Hayden [[red underline]] (Gen. Electric Co) [[/red underline]] for lacquer [[red underline]] amylalcohol patent [[/red underline]] Stauffer has resigned. [[Tucker?]] in his place. Does not impress me as well as Stauffer. Moses assists at meeting
