Ate lunch during rain, sitting in cab of grader. Arrived Grassy Knowl L.O. Tower about noon. No one on duty but met Forest service men hunting bear. Arrived camp ___ about 2:00. Then came to Huckleberry Mtn. From topside photoed Mt. Adams, top hidden in cloud. Saw Mt. Hood, mostly shrouded. Still could see Columbia Gorge. Camped finally under timber near Mouse Creek.
