shuttled back to A.T. by
climbed to Mt. Liberty and along ridge
to Mt. Lafayelle, a series of tops
over bare rock, feasome but not strenuous
Bright sunny weather. To next sag
slept in woods near the trail
Next morning foggy damp weather arrived
Continued and stopped me at Galdiesl Hut
There was told should have had reservation
Let me stay for the night about 30 people
In the morning started early but went wrong
At brupt change at junction - was [[?]] morning
Met hikers who oriented me went back
And at noon am back on the A.T.
Much of the Trail in New England
consists of rocks and mud settled in between, a nasty combination
