Angle with Ulakhta is 18°..50. Vert Ang. 7°..30'. High wind from E. & S. arises & we return, after finishing series of angles. some fog comes in. In the A.M. a good deal of fine ice around kelp and in sheltered portions of the Main Bay. soon gone however after wind springs up. -----Thursday Dec 21----- Visit tide guage and put on new paper.
