one near the cemetery about forty feet from the beach and fifteen feet above high watermark just to the NW of a small rivulet which loses itself in the stones of the beach, call this Albatross station. Another on the SW end of the flat on the east side of the Bay west of a small bight where the boats can almost always land, 20 feet from the beach and four feet above high watermark - Stillwater station. Repair several signals from the the flags have blown away.
After noon erect a primary signal on the top of the hill between middle & south Amaknak Island just south of the lagoon, height not yet determined, all the other primary stations are visible from this one and it will be one of the stations for the main triangle, name it Keystone station.
