Remeasurement of base line. P.M. from Ulakhta to Spithead,less reliable than the last as the sun shines directly in my face & the stadia is shaded. Back to vessel about 4 P.M. Ice every where in outer harbor.

Along W. edge spit and into water over bight. H on Edge of [[water?]] along water's edge. I is on beach over a shallow bight. Across spit - 29'12 ^[[insertion]] vert 2° [[/insertion]] from K. K is on edge of bank W. side
