Fresh high wind from NW with snow squalls - ice prevents our visiting tide guage. Wind blows very hard during day & evening but makes very little impression on the ice.

Wind fresh NW cloudy with snow at intervals. Spend most of the morning getting to the tide guage the bridge to the shore having been carried away by the ice.

Ice little affected by the wind, but apparently thawing a little. Snow squalls occasionally.

Wind NW as before, this is the heaviest wind we have had.
