I think it might be Ashdown F = Ashdown Forest and EX might = East Sussex but needs to be confirmed via his collecting field books. 1931 is not currently in the TC unfortunately so can't double check at the mo. Have transcribed as is until it can be confirmed. -@siobhanleachman
