noon.  Afternoon went to see "Chimes of Normandy" excellently played and staged.
Evening left at 10:45 for Niagara Falls.
Dec. 8. (Sunday) arrived early at Buffalo, still dark.  Took breakfast at Iroquois.  then electric car for Niagara.  At factory met [[underlined]] Dr. Taylor [[/underlined]] who was in charge.  [[underlined]] Marsh new cell [[/underlined]] was first put in commission.  Then met A. H. Hooker and Marsh.  Impressed them with necessity of painting interior of bleach chambers

Took lunch at A. H. Hookers house then went to Niagara Club met Burnie, Ornstein, Neuhaus etc.  remained for supper. cheerful crowd some singing. then train to Buffalo. Waited there till 9:20 P.M for New York sleeper.
Dec. 9.  Arrived at 125 St. one hour late.  Albert waiting with car.  Cold freezing weather.  Drove home.  Found [[underlined]] Celine [[/underlined]] in bed [[underlined]] with grippe [[/underlined]] or similar ailment.
