Dec. 29. (Sunday) Home till noon then motor car took me to Penna Station.  Nina and Dorothy went with me but Celine remained home because she had slight pain in her back.

Dec. 30. Pouring rain [[strikethrough]] but [[/strikethrough]] went early to Townsends office then to office of Mr. [[underlined]] [[Tueter?]] [[/underlined]] who heard inteference Baekeland [[underlined]] Redman, [[/underlined]] Goldsmith Steinmetz (Gen. Electric) General Electric Co was represented by a young countified looking attorney

whose name I have forgotten.  [[underlined]] Redman [[/underlined]] by a certain Mr. Phelps of Washington and a certain [[underlined]] Mr. Lee [[/underlined]]. as well as by Dr [[underlined]] Redman [[/underlined]] himself Goldsmith by [[Makaye?]]. [[underlined]] Townsend [[/underlined]] made excellent speech, followed by some rather mediocre remarks by [[underlined]] the boy of the G. E. Co [[/underlined]] who endorsed our plea was dissolution. The others had no brief to present.
